Conclusion

Basically, There are many mobilities in Whitby and the mobilities can be changed through analysis and making solution.Landscape architecture should suggest coordination of mobilities and socio-flux to exist environment.

In Whitby, It can be found that the mobility of tourists is distinguished factor and it is need to make a effective of change in the environment. First of all, access is main factor to change mobility because mostvisitors have a difficulty to find tourism place and how to go there effectively.

Firstly, analysis of this area is first process in a research about Whitby for making logical concept and finding problemThe analysis consist of fundamental information of Whitby, vista Analysis, district Analysis, tourism place analysis,street Network ; Density and local residents

There are two solutions which are a development of three kinds of tourism routes and design about the media square for improvement of mobilities. It will be effective solutions for coordination of mobilities and bring with positivechanging landscape and urban design. At lastly, these intensive coordination result in a progress in human environment.

A Research on effective public access to public space in Whitby.

This research is about analysis of urban information and proposal for Whitby, especially, urban feature relating to mobilities.Mobilities usually can include the movements, the changes, the mutations, the adaptions and the recreationsof people, information, technologies, landscape and life. Particularly, It is a basic research about relationship between public space and public access which is a connectivity of open space and urban features. This meta-datum research involves a information of many kinds of analysis with propsal about flux in Whitby.

1. Urban-Flux

All the mobilities in the town.
All elements of the landscape including people, air, transport even land are moving At first, according to a basic movement of this town, Urban -flux is investigated. Mobilities usually have a relative direction, a concept of axis and a image of flux.Through investigating of urban-flux, connectivities in the town also are obtained.

2. Public space

Space relating to public, heritage, tourism, landmark.
Public space has special meaning which is related to city image, movement and identity.
Usually, public space consist of many elements: plants, sign system, facilities and even movementof people and car. Especially, in this research, public spaces in the districts are analyzed into two sections:tourism area (for visitors), open area (for local residents)

3. Flux_coordination ; access

Analysis and Proposal of Mobilities .
In this research, all of the main mobilities including data, space, local residents, visitors and transportwill be visualised as data-gram: meta-datum.In addition, for improvement of effective access, the main flux can be coordinated and supportedby other factors. Meta-datum make a main role in analysis and design of the mobilities in Whitby.

CONTEXT

Mobilities are the movements, the changes, the mutations, the adaptations are the recreation ofpeople, information, technologies, landscapes, moneys and life in general. They are continuallyforming and re-forming the environments we live in whether it is new forms of communication,interactions or movement.

Landscape architecture has always worked with mobilities, be it; in the movement and flux ofnatural processes-water, land, air-that shape and change the world; the human interactions withthe landscape, other people and histories of a place; and with the fluctuation of economic status of theplace, region or country. Landscape architecture has always been affected by and effective of changein the environment.

In this rapidly changing world landscape architecture and urban design isadvantageously placed to understand and integrate these changing worlds in to the humanenvironments that we exist in.

the Millennium Dome was designed by Richard Rogers in 1999. The Dome is 320m in diameter and 50m high at its centre. The fabric structure is suspended from twelve 100m high steel masts, held on a net of more than 72 km of high strength steel cable. The roof fabric is self-cleaning PTFE-coated glass fibre with a minimum life of 25 years, which can be renewed in sections if necessary. A two-layer fabric provides insulation to prevent condensation.

English Partnerships has invested over ￡200m in developing the site. The importance of a natural environment has also been recognised by English Partnerships throughout the development at Greenwich Peninsula. Three main areas of parkland have been created including an ecology park, and extensive works have been carried out to improve the riverside environment.

1- The Southbank ; built for the 1951 Festival of Britain and has recently undergone a major refurbishment.
2- The Bankside ; Home to Tate Modern, this is perhaps one of London’s most radical regeneration areas of the past 10 years.
3- The Docklands ; Now considered to be the second largest financial district in the world, Canary Wharf and the Docklands are the result of a 1980’s regeneration policy under Margaret Thatcher’s government.
4- Greenwich Peninsula ; after a very controversial start, The Millenium Dome is now home to US-style entertainment and highly branded private/public spaces.
With the Millenium Village around the corner, it is the most recent regeneration areas of the city.

A Research on elements of public space in London-scape.

This regeneration study is divided into four sites: the Southbank, the Bankside, Docklands, Millennium Quarter. It is a basic research about relationship between public space and London-scape which have been characterised through major regeneration schemes.This research involves information of physical geography, a special analysis of territoriality and identity.

1. Urban-being_Urbanite
What you see. What you are seen. Physical being.

At first, according to a basic map of four areas, city space is investigated. The space of city can be analyzed as several factors: Path, Edge, Node, District, Landmark (Lynch,1960)City-space is separated into 5 factors which are basic elements in city-scape but there are manyother variables. Through investigation of this analysis, basic information and concept are obtained.

2. Public space
Space in which people act, eat, rest.

One of the important aspects of regeneration is that public space is changed and re-organised.Nowadays public space has special meaning which is related to city image, orientation and identity.
Usually, public space consist of many elements: plants, sign system, facilities and even movementof people and car. Especially, in this research, public spaces in four areas are analyzed into two sections:primary elements(direct one), secondary elements(indirect one)

3. Data-scape
Visualization which is form of information design.

In this research, all of the main information including data, space, synopsis and factors etc.will be represented as visual factors; diagram, image map, cartogram.Data-scape, which means visualized-information, promotes analysis of areas, finding matters,understanding easily and making a logical concept.

The typical research documents that you should find for your area are:

* Site Visit:
- photographs of your site and its neighbouring area
- material samples (in photograph, sketch form or physical sample-collection)
- preparation of a planting palette (in photograph, sketch form or physical sample-collection). You can also go to the natural History museum website and find the native species for your specific site: The Postcode Plants Database - Natural History Museum
- sketches of the existing site from various points of view
- record any conversations and/or interviews with people that you meet on-site

l Off-site research:

Local authority search:
find the local authority -or council- for your site (Southwark) and look at their planning department. Is there any information that will help you understand the site’s past, present or future? Are there any projects proposed that may affect your site? (For example, a new transport facility or a large school being built nearby). Find the borough’s framework plan and order a copy, or download its PDF. The framework plan usually sets out planning for the next 20 years for every area in London. It includes maps, graphs, images and a lot of text.

Online resources:
Find and make a database of all the online resources available. This will be very diverse in form and will include; websites, online documentaries, youtube videos, radio programmes, news programmes, images, texts of people written on blogs.
Calendar of Events: find activities happening in and around London that relate to your site. Make a calendar marking lectures, exhibitions, festivals, walks, talks, and regeneration -related activities that may be useful to attend between NOW and SEPTEMBER 2008.

Library research:
search the slide collection; search the documentary & video collection; look through and photocopy important articles in the journals available; photocopy passages, excerpts and chapters from books in the library that will be useful. These can be about the history of your site, its architectural merits, its landscape or urban peculiarities. You should also research the TYPE of regeneration of your site. In the case of Southbank, we are looking at Cultural Renovation, so find data to support the ideas for and against renovating an area through culture.

l Photographs:
- Include all of your site photographs in the file
- Enlarge. remember the exhibition we saw on landscape photography. Large images are clearer to read and look very good. So select a few and enlarge.
- Annotate. Write, scribble, cut, copy, paste them if there is something special you wish to point out or remember. This can be done on photoshop or with a marker, post-it notes, etc.. be resourceful and remember they are just research images so they don’t need to look perfect.

l Maps:
- Ordnance Survey (OS) Maps. Find the OS map for your area (in Digimap) and print at a reasonable scale. Not on an A4 sheet of paper. Outline your site with a red marker.
- Topographic maps. Find the topographic map for your area (Digimap)
- Tidal maps. If appropriate (for those with sites next to River Thames), find the tidal maps or waterway maps for your site.
- Historical maps. Look for a site before the regeneration occurred
- Various. Remember there are many types of maps and drawings to look for: charts and diagrams, for example, will tell you about the social and economic characteristics of your site

E.S.Pa.S is the medium of interaction through communication and senses, between human and object. It also connects the intrinsic contents into self establishment. It could be an actual, empirical unit like an osmotic surface and it can also be one flowing movement. .

It leads a round movement line centering on the facilities for images and composes symmetrical planes and solids. As an environmental design using Hae-Ban-Cheon(RIVER) Bridge in Kim Hae city, it represents the characteristics that the region is the origin of one of the oldest tribe countries, KaYa, in Korea, and that the civilization was developed by using fires and irons. The images of fire were the motive.

The balance of blue-colored formative works with those made from stainless is an implication of high technology industrial complex and the roads for fashion. The main formative work symbolizing feather and three lined stainless curved pole symbolizing stream.
I earned the grand prize in a contest with it.
